It sure ain't no flyin' bathtub! ...Maybe a little "Flying Sub" from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea in there though. (I still wish it had reflected more of Jolly Jack's original designs...oh well...)

The Fantasti-car revealed
So here's the first look at the long-awaited, Kirby-created, big-screen version of the FF's primary flying, firing and dividing vehicle "The Fantasti-car"...or at least a big chunk of it. Interesting here that The Thing isn't present for this photo-op...and it's kinda hard to tell for sure if there's a seat for him in this nutty gizmo or not. But here (most of ) it is, regardless! The other 3 lead actors from next summer's release are present, (Alba looking more like Sue from the comics here than the first film) all apparently posing for their FF2 action-figure photos...

Yeah, where IS Brother Benjjy, anyway? Anyhoo, maybe the sole reason the FantastiCar and, for that matter, ALL the FF-type technology won't EVER evoke Kirby has more to do with colorscheme than anything else. Nearly all things technical in those Kirby-Lee FF's are WHITE, wtih silvery or grey highlights. Pogo Plane-white. Flying bathtub-white. Fantasticar-white. Actually, I'd give anything to see Ben's sky-cycle, but that's asking WAY too much...
